On 7 December 2018, Ms. Park Mi Kyoung, Associate Research and Policy Analysis Expert, was invited to participate in the panel discussion during the special session titled “Responding to International Assessments on E-Government and Direction for Korea's E-Government Development” during the 2018 Annual Winter Conference of the Korean Association for Policy Studies held in Seoul. The session was organized in partnership with Korea National Information Society Agency (NIA). 

 

During the session, the panelists discussed about international trends in e-government assessment, with reference to different e-government assessment frameworks including the UN E-Government Survey, and shared opinions on the future direction of Korea e-government development. The session was attended by experts in e-government, government officials, and students.
