Ms. Hye Kyung (Shelley) Choi, Programme Assistant, was invited to give a special lecture for 18 Korean college student delegation participating in the “2019 Winter College Leaders at the UN: Korea Programme” organized by WFUNA on November 24, 2018 at the premises of United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The special lecture was organized prior to the student delegation’s mission to New York in February 2019, where each of 3 groups will present on SDG 4, 12 and 16 to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations.

 

The special lecture on “the SDG 16: Why it Matters” provided a good opportunity for UN DESA/UNPOG to raise awareness on the SDG 16 in general, and the UNPSA, UN E-Government Survey and many other activities of UNPOG to the youth.
