In continuation of close cooperation with the UN Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD), UNPOG will support UNOSD in organizing the upcoming Mayors’ Forum that will be co-organized with the Division for Sustainable Development, UNDP and the Government of Malawi this spring. It aims to make our cities and communities more inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable as part of the solution to sustainable development, in line with the overarching theme of the 2018 High-Level Political Forum. This event will also contribute to UNPOG’s research on local governance.
