Executive Development Course on Digital Government for Transformation Towards Sustainable and Resilient Societies in Collaboration with Singapore GovTECH and UNDP GCPSE
UN DESA/DPADM/UNPOG is organizing the Executive Development Course: Digital Government for Transformation Towards Sustainable and Resilient Societies - The Singapore Experience, on April 2-6, 2018 in Singapore. It will be co-organized with the Government Technology Agency (GovTech) of Singapore and the UNDP Global Centre for Public Service Excellence (GCPSE). Participants will include senior government officials from the Small Island Developing States (SIDS), Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) from Asia and the Pacific and Eastern Africa who are responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring and review of the SDGs and in charge of digital government/ICT policies. The main theme of the Executive Development Course will be on how digital government can contribute to SDG implementation and support the transformation in SIDS, LDCs and LLDCs towards sustainable and resilient societies.
