Mr. CHUNG Chae Gun, Head of UNPOG, gave a special lecture on localizing the SDGs to local government officials of Chungcheongnam-do to support Korean local governments in achieving the SDGs at the local level. Mr. Chung also visited Korea Post Officials Training Institute, located in Cheonan City, and addressed to 300 new Korean government officials on their roles in implementing the SDGs as an integral part of national efforts to advance Agenda 2030. Those junior officials were encouraged to think about what new capacities or skills they need to develop to contribute to the SDG implementation.
