Two UNPOG staff participated in the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Asia- Pacific Young ICT Leaders Forum 2018, which was held on 4 -7 September 2018 in Busan, Republic of Korea. Mr. CHUNG Chae Gun, Head of UNPOG, delivered a presentation on the topic of "Transforming Governance to Ensuring Innovation Ecosystem as a Driver of Smart Cities" during the Session 3 <Creating Solutions - Innovation Ecosystems as a Driver of Smart Cities> on 6 September.
The Forum provided an important opportunity for UNPOG to learn how ITU engages with young leaders and fosters discussion on the crucial role of ICT in building smart and sustainable cities.
