Participation in UNITAR Cifal Jeju’s 13th Youth Workshop on “Accelerating SDGs Achievement through ICT”

UNPOG participated as a resource person during the UNITAR CIFAL Jeju 13th Youth Workshop on “Accelerating SDGs Achievement through ICT” held from 20 to 22 February 2019 in Jeju, Republic of Korea. The Youth Workshop aimed to strengthen the capacities of young people by deepening their understanding and utilization of ICT as an enabler to accelerate SDG achievement. The objectives of the Youth Workshop were in line with one of the priority areas of UNPOG, which is to promote innovation in public service delivery for SDG implementation, including innovation through ICT.
The presentation on “ICT and SDGs: Opportunities and Challenges” was delivered during Session 2 of the Youth Workshop. The staff member also provided advice on “Action Plan Development on SDGs” to the participants during break-out Group Mission and facilitated the final group presentation on 22 February.
