Study Visit from National Human Resources Development Institute (NHI) Overseas Training Preparatory Programme (12 April 2024, Incheon, Republic of Korea)

DPIDG/UNPOG received a Study Visit from the Republic of Korea’s National Human Resources Development Institute (NHI) Overseas Training Preparatory Programme. The Study Visit was attended by 36 representatives from various government institutions including the Board of Audit and Inspection, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Korea Meteorological Administration, Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, National Tax Service, Office for Government Policy Coordination, and the Personal Information Protection Commission. During the Study Visit, UNPOG staff introduced the office mandate, DPIDG/UNPOG activities and the Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs. At the end of the visit, the representatives enhanced their understanding on the critical role of strengthening public institutions for effective SDG implementation.
