DPIDG/UNPOG received a study visit from 5 middle and high schools located in Ganghwa Island, Incheon, Republic of Korea. The study visit was attended by 22 students. During the study visit, UNPOG staff introduced: i) UNPOG’s Mandate and Activities, ii) CEPA Principles of Effective Governance for Sustainable Development and the iii) UN DESA Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs. The event was a good platform to promote the upcoming 8th Youth Forum on SDG Implementation and the 8th Regional Symposium on Effective Governance and Digital Transformation for Accelerating Progress towards the 2030 Agenda. At the end of the visit, the students enhanced their understanding on the critical role of strengthening public institutions for effective, inclusive, and accountable SDG implementation.
