Participation in the World Bank Group KGGTF’s (Korea Green Growth Trust Fund) Green Growth Forum (21 May 2024, Seoul, Republic of Korea)

DPIDG/UNPOG was invited by the World Bank Group KGGTF to participate in the “Green Growth and International Cooperation Forum and Closing Ceremony of the KGGTF Youth Internship Program”. The Forum aimed to introduce young people to organizations working on green growth and sustainable development, and to commemorate the completion of World Bank’s 2024 internship programme. DPIDG/UNPOG contributed to the event by delivering a presentation on the mandates and programme activities of DPIDG/UNPOG and by serving as a panelist to provide comments on the sectoral presentations. The Forum was attended by representatives from World Bank’s KGGTF, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Korea, UN Women, UNDP Seoul Policy Centre, FAO, GGGI, ICLEI East Asia, AfoCO, EAAFP and CityNet, Kim & Chang, and professors from KDI, Ehwa University and Yeungnam University. The event afforded an opportunity to build new partnerships, promote the Office’s capacity development activities, and create awareness of upcoming activities including the UNPSF, Youth Forum, and the Regional Symposium.
