DPIDG/UNPOG paid a courtesy visit to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, East and North-East Asia (UNESCAP-ENEA) Office to discuss and explore opportunities for collaboration in 2024 and beyond. Both offices acknowledged and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing cooperation and welcomed the need to strengthen the existing partnership in digital transformation, public governance, and climate action to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. DPIDG/UNPOG used the occasion to promote and invite UNESCAP-ENEA to the upcoming UN Public Service Forum and Awards Ceremony, and the 8th Regional Symposium on Effective Governance and Digital Transformation. UNESCAP-ENEA also seized the opportunity to invite DPIDG/UNPOG to its 8th North-East Asia Multistakeholder Forum on Sustainable Development Goals to be held in September 2024.
