Study Visit from KOICA-Yonsei Master’s Degree Programme in e-Government and Public Management for ASEAN (7 February 2023, Incheon, Republic of Korea)

On 7 February 2023, DPIDG/UNPOG received a Study Visit from KOICA-Yonsei Master’s Degree Programme in e-Government and Public Management for ASEAN. The Study Visit was attended by 15 government officials from Cambodia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, Uzbekistan, and Viet Nam, and was organised by Yonsei University.
During the Study Visit, UNPOG staffs introduced i) the office mandate, ii) UNPOG activities, iii) the Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs, iv) the Handbook Series on “Innovative Local Governance for Implementation of the SDGs”, and v) innovative practices in local governance. At the end of the visit, the students enhanced their understanding on the critical role of public institutions, and the importance of innovative local governance to deliver quality public services and better engagement of citizens for SDG implementation.
