DPIDG/UNPOG participated in the International Forum on AI-Powered Public Financial Management Reform, hosted by the Korea Institute of Public Finance (KIPF). The event brought together representatives from Korean government ministries, public institutions and research organizations to explore the direction of public financial management aligned with the AI transformation era. International experts from the World Bank, OECD, and other organizations shared case studies from Asia and Europe, proposed guiding principles, and underscored the importance of enabling policy and institutional environments—particularly in ensuring data quality and strengthening security systems. The forum provided UNPOG with valuable opportunities to engage with international financial agencies and Korean counterparts, reinforcing collaboration in advancing AI-driven public financial management reforms.
