International Forum We, the Youth (IFWY) 2025 (27 October 2025, Seoul, Republic of Korea)

At the invitation of the International Forum We, the Youth (IFWY), convened by the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD), DPIDG/UNPOG participated in the IFWY 2025. The IFWY represents an innovative global platform that integrates inclusive, youth-led policy dialogues with cultural expressions, fostering intergenerational solidarity and cross-border collaboration. The Forum is closely aligned with the objectives of the World Programme of Action for Youth (WPAY), a United Nations framework that offers policy guidance and practical measures to support national and international efforts aimed at improving the well-being and opportunities of young people worldwide. During the Forum, DPIDG/UNPOG introduced its mandate and ongoing initiatives, with particular emphasis on the Youth Forum on SDG Implementation. Participants were encouraged to engage with and participate in the upcoming 10th Youth Forum on SDG Implementation, scheduled to take place in 2026.
