DPIDG/UNPOG paid a courtesy visit to the Smart City Association to discuss their potential participation in the Local Governance and Partnerships Forum during the upcoming Regional Symposium. The Smart City Association aims to support the creation and expansion of smart cities by upholding the dignity and advocating for the rights and interests of its members, as well as facilitating the exchange of technology, information, and academic research related to smart cities. UNPOG introduced the upcoming Regional Symposium on Effective Governance and Digital Transformation to which the Smart City Association agreed to attend and present. Both organizations agreed to explore further platforms for cooperation in 2025 following the Local Governance and Partnerships Forum.
