UNOSD & UNPOG of UN DESA and K-eco co-organized a Pre-workshop of the 3rd SDGs Youth Summer Camp on 24 June 2019 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The Pre-workshop was attended by 40 young people from 18 countries. During the preliminary workshop, the organizers delivered presentations on i) the general introduction of the upcoming Youth Summer Camp; ii) overview of SDGs and its progress and iii) youth engagement in the SDGs implementation. One UNESCAP staff participated in the pre-workshop as a resource person to highlight the important role of youth as agent for achieving the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs. During the last session of the workshop, participants were divided into groups to discuss how to fast-track the implementation of the SDGs, including effective public awareness raising. The main Youth Summer Camp will be held from 29 July to 1 August in Incheon, Republic of Korea.
