Minister of State for Public Service, Office of the Prime Minister and Chairperson of the 7thAU Conference of Ministers of Public Service The Chairperson will introduce the topic by commenting on the common problems encountered by the public sector in Africa in utilizing ICTs and highlighting a core set of challenges that derive from a limited use of Open Source Software and Open Standards by Public Institutions. He will introduce the presenter, ensure that time restrictions are observed, and direct the floor discussion, after which he would provide a brief summary.
